He worked at NNSY from June 1968 until January 1980 where he accepted a promotion to the Graded Salary (GS) position of GS-7 at the Naval Sea Combat Systems Center, Norfolk, VA. In 1992, due to a Base Closure and Realignment (BRAC), he was transferred to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) at Suffolk, VA. Another transfer occurred in 1995 to Naval In-service Engineering Center, Portsmouth, VA which later became Space and Naval Warfare Command Charleston. Steve retired from Civil Service, 30 September 2005 after 37 years 4 months service.
Steve enjoyed golf, tennis, water and snow skiing, modeling, building furniture and genealogy.
On October 19, 2014 I had a dream that I died either 17 June or June 2017, Heart Attack. Strange dream. Had access to top secret documents as well as all electronic records.
